Central Marin Sanitation Agency sponsors and supports a variety of innovative programs to educate students and children about wastewater treatment and how individuals can help us protect the environment.

AWARD-WINNING CHILDREN'S VIDEOS

"Kids By the Bay" is produced and directed by two Emmy-Award winning directors and features students restoring the environment. "Where Does It Go" takes student on the water's voyage from home drains, and includes students taking action to protect the environment. 

 

INTERACTIVE ONLINE GAMES

Ecomasters features fun creatures and an exciting trip down the drain to see what happens to the water we use everyday in our homes.

Bayland Habitats takes a trip through time to visit the ecosystem of the San Francisco Bay as it was before humans, and up to the present day.

 

ON-SITE FACILITY TOURS

Staff-led tours take students on a trip through the wastewater treatment plant and other facilities, and covers the entire wastewater treatment process. Tours are ADA-compliant.

Using videos, games and hands-on activities, CMSA staff show students wastewater treatment processes, watershed dynamics, and aspects of
San Francisco Bay ecology.

 

GO WITH THE FLOW ASSEMBLY PROGRAM

Go With the Flow is an interactive and entertaining assembly program that educates students about what happens to our water after it goes down our household drains, opening up an awareness of our most precious natural resource . . . water.
