Our staff consists of certified wastewater operators, maintenance specialists, laboratory technicians, and engineers whose sole mission is to safeguard the public health of Marin County residents and protect the environment by providing excellent wastewater treatment and disposal services.

Conduct Careful Testing

Testing in the CMSA lab, which is certified by the Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program, ensures a high-quality treatment process that allows for safe discharge of treated wastewater in full compliance with state and federal regulations.

We run samples on wastewater coming into the plant, our treated effluent and biosolids, which are a byproduct of the treatment process and are used as fertilizer. Testing also is done in other authorized labs.

The test results are complied daily and reported regularly to regulatory agencies.
