RECORD OF REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Recognition by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) with the gold Peak Performance Award (2017-2024) 7 consecutive years.
The award recognizes the achievement of obtaining 100% compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements over the calendar year.                                                                 

CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT FOR EXCELLENCE IN FINANCIAL REPORTING

Recognition from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the Agency’s FY24 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a governmental entity. This marked the twenty-third consecutive year that the Agency’s ACFR had met the high standards of the GFOA for governmental accounting and financial reporting.  

AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN POPULAR ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORTING

Recognition from the GFOA for the Agency’s FY24 Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). This is the fifteenth consecutive year that the Agency’s PAFR has met the high standards of the GFOA for governmental accounting and financial reporting. Prior to preparing biennial budgets, the Agency had received eight consecutive annual awards for its FY12 through FY19 budgets, and four consecutive biennial awards for the FY20 & FY21 through FY 26 & FY27 Biennial Budget presentations. The PAFR is specifically designed to be readily accessible and easily understandable to the general public and other interested parties who do not have a background in public finance.

DISTINGUISHED BUDGET PRESENTATION AWARD

This is the twelfth biennial award that the Agency has received recognition from the GFOA for its Biennial Operating and Capital Budget. The award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a governmental entity. The GFOA encourages public entities to prepare budget documents that fully explain the agency’s business, are transparent, and are designed to be readily accessible to the general public and other interested parties.
