Central Marin Sanitation Agency

CMSA issues wastewater discharge permits to individuals and for certain types of businesses. The enforcement of these permits helps to prevent industrial and hazardous wastes from being discharged into the sewage collection systems in our service area, which includes:

Fairfax, Ross, San Anselmo, Greenbrae, Kentfield, Larkspur, Corte Madera, areas of San Rafael south of the Santa Venetia ridge, and unincorporated areas of Ross Valley. (Terra Linda and the Marin County Civic Center are not in our service area.)
